Remo Stars Football Club (RSFC) Head Coach, Daniel Ogunmodede has disclosed his happiness with the team after a 3-0 victory over visitors, Calabar Rovers in Match day five of the Nigeria National League (NNL)

The Sky Blue Stars return to form in style with a deserved 3-0 victory over Calabar Rovers at the Gateway International Stadium, Sagamu in Sunday's Nigeria National League (NNL) fixture with 10 men after the dismissal of Orji Sylvester.

Nduka Junior put the Sky Blue Stars into the lead from the penalty spot, then a brace from substitute, Agbeko Morgan to score the second and third goal for his side before the end of the game.

Rovers' misery was compounded during the first half as Orji Sylvester was dismissed for talking harshly to the referee, leaving Remo Stars FC to see out the rest of the game with relative ease.

Remo Stars started brightly in the opening minutes and their first clear chance came in the tenth minute after Itumo Donnatus' attempt flipped past the goalpost.

Moments later, Nduka Junior converted from the spot to give the Sky Blue Stars the lead after the referee sighted an infringement inside the visitors box, he sent Kugen Isaac the wrong way, and Daniel Ogunmodede into wild celebration on the touchline.

Remo Stars thought that they had extended their advantage in the 40th minute after Adegbite Opeyemi long range strike deceived Kugen Isaac before eventually breezing out.

In the early minutes of the second half, the visitors had a chance to level up through Okotu Benedict but his attempt went out without getting to anybody.

Remo Stars doubled their lead in the 56th just immediately after Agbeko Morgan substituted Itumo Donnatus and ran towards goal to tap in from Ogwuche Mathias' free kick which was earlier punched out by Kugen Isaac.

Minutes later, Agbeko Morgan got his brace to make it the third goal for the Sky Blue Stars after an initial build up from Opeyemi Adegbite towards Ogunribide Seun who squared for an easy tap in.

The Sky Blue Stars came close to get the fourth goal through Ogunribide Seun but his attempt hit the woodwork to maintain the scoreline, the push for more goals continued but didn't materialise before the referee called the game off.
