Stephen Odey celebrates his goal
against Liverpool in Champions League
Nigeria Forward, Stephen Odey was on target as his side, KRC Genk fell to a 4-1 defeat to Liverpool in a Champions League clash on Wednesday evening.
Stephen Odey marked his Champions League debut for KRC Genk with a goal in the 88th minute as the Belgian Champions got outclassed by the reigning Champions.
Goals from Oxlade Chamberlain, Sadio Mane and Mohammed Salah gave the Reds a 4-0 lead until the 88th minute of the game.
The former Mountain Of Fire miracle Ministries (MFM) FC Forward, was a substitute for his compatriot Paul Onuachu who had a rather quiet night in front of goal albeit a shot on target in the first half of the game which was well saved by Becker.
Ndongala created for Genk with some neat footwork in the Liverpool area but Odey still has to stay calm and beat Alisson Becker after a slick turn

Peter Olayinka bittered for his
own goal against Barcelona
Elsewhere, Peter Olayinka scored for Slavia Prague but this time an own goal as Barcelona edged Slavia 2-1 at the Eden Arena when Messi floated in a free kick to find Luis Suarez whose effort took a deflection off Olayinka.
In France, Victor Osimhen played all 90mins but fires blank in their home draw against Valencia.
KRC Genk are yet to get a win in the Group Stages Of the 2019/2020 Champions League but will hope to continue their impressive form in the Belgian Pro League when they face Cercle Brugge on Saturday.
