The Changi Boys' completed the signing of twelve new players as Manga Solomon former Bimo SC and Real Stars FC player top the list of the new signing, as they intensified preparations ahead of 2019/2020 Nigeria Professional Football League season that is set to kickoff Sunday 3rd November, 2019.

Katsina United have been very busy in the transfer market and have been able to secure the services of new twelve quality players that will add value to the team according to reports emanating from the club secretariat in Katsina

This recruitment was necessary following the departure of key players like Martins Usule, Timothy Danladi and Ajanah Chinedu from the club for proverbial golden flicks at the end of last season. Also some players whom the club described as surplus to requirements were released.

However, the club have left no stone unturned in search of their replacement.

Katsina United new board under the leadership of Prince Abdulssamad Badamasi have completed and finalized the signing of the following players

Manga Solomon from Real Stars FC (Midfielder)

Gambo Muhammed from Kano Pillars (Striker)

Atule Joseph from Kebbi United (Winger)

Giwa Isaac from Elkanemi Warriors (Left back)

Ogene Elijah from Plateau United (Center Back)

Habeeb Yakub from Rarara FC (Center Back)

Abubakar Abdullahi Danja From Rarara FC (Midfielder)

Aliko Mustapha from Niger Tornadoes (Gk)

Alex Godwin from Yobe Desert Stars (Left Back)

Moses Ugwu from Niger Tornadoes (Midfielder)

Nura Haruna from ASN Niamey, Niger

Katsina United chairman Prince Abdussamad Badamasi who spoke to gentlemen of the press on the recruitment of the new players said

"Like I always said, Katsina United is still 'work-in-progress', by the time we finalize our preparations everyone will see the result.

"We took our time and examined these players before they were certified and cleared to join the team.

"All the twelve players have proved themselves during pre-season matches and we hope they will transform what they have exhibited into the league when the season started in just few weeks.

"We have not finalized our recruitment as the coaches and the club's scouts are still working on some invited players. He revealed

The astute administrator went further by saying "Our priority is to present a formidable team that will challenge for silverwares in the forthcoming NPFL season. He concluded.

The twelve new players will be unveiled before the commencement of the new NPFL season.
