Olympic Eagles winger Ibrahim Sunusi was left impressed with his display for his side in their 5-0 win over Sudan in the U23 AFCON Qualifier at the Stephen Keshi Stadium on Tuesday has he recorded 7 shots on target in the entire duration.

The 2018/2019 Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) joint top scorer and Eunisell Boot winner was involved in three of the five goals netted by the Imama Amapakabo managed side in Asaba as they qualified for the AFCON 5-1 on aggregate.
He scored one and provided an assist in the game. The Nasarawa United lad was involved in the first goal by Taiwo Awoniyi.
“The match was good, especially the first half when we scored three goals. We could do better. We won and can now turn to U23 AFCON,” said the 17-year-old in a chat with gentlemen of the press.

Ndifreke Effiong scored a brace, with Taiwo Awoniyi and Sunday also delivering the goods as at score stood at 4-0.
Sunusi capped a fantastic individual display for the Olympic Eagles with a well struck effort to put icing on the cake after several attempts and his work rate is superlative. 
“This is my first goal for the national side. So I am very impressed and elated, this is really good for me as a young boy and i believe it will really boost my confidence"
