Remo Stars Football Club (RSFC) are set to hand Obasi Onyebuchi his senior debut as the Sky Blue Stars take on Bendel Insurance FC in the ongoing Governor Okowa Cup at the Stephen Keshi Stadium in Asaba.

Head Coach, Daniel Ogunmodede revealed to RSSC Media while having a chat in the early hours of today ahead of the game against the Benin Arsenals.

Onyebuchi who represented the Sky Blue Stars in the 2018/2019 Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) U15 promises in Enugu will be the latest academy player given a first team chance after the likes of Adedayo Olamilekan, Ibrahim Yusuf, Ismail Sodiq, Morgan Agbeko among other players.

It is an opportunity for him to get exposed and showcase himself to the world in today's game against Bendel Insurance FC, we brought him here to have a feel of a bigger tournament and I am sure he will display his talent."

"He is a very good player, he is an U15 boy who sometimes train with our U17 boys, he also represented the club at the NPFL U15 Promises and he understands our playing philosophy so playing today won't be too difficult for him."

"I have told him not to be scared of any player, his job is to play brilliantly on the field, he is to make assists and score goals if he gets a very good opportunity to do so, he is quite fast and quick going forward and I hope he display to his best of his ability today."
