Delta State Governor, His Excellency Dr. Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa is the sponsor of the competition.
It will be a star-studded line up with top class teams invited to take part in the tournament.
Also expected to take part in the competition are Abia Warriors, Heartland, Wikki Tourists, Lobi Stars, Cynosure, Nasarawa United, Rivers United, Remo Stars, Niger Tornadoes, Bendel Insurance, Plateau United, MFM FC and Kwara United.

"We've sent invitation letter to clubs, and we're doing everything to ensure we make the tournament glamorous. It will be the talk of the town as Asaba will come alive.

Medals and cash prizes will be on offer for winners in the competition. There will also be cash prizes for MVP, top scorer and best goalkeeper.
