Olympic Eagles assistant coach, Fidelis Ilechukwu is expected to become the new gaffer of the Naze Millionaires by signing his contract papers today in Owerri.

According to a reliable source close to the coach, "All the rumoured reports linking Ilechukwu to other Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) teams will finally be confirmed today as he will put pen to paper on a deal that will see him become the new Heartland FC of Owerri gaffer.

"After MFM lost about nine of its experienced players to other NPFL teams at the end of last season and weeks of negotiations with the Olukoya  Boys management not yielding positive results, my client felt it was time to step down.

"It was a tough decision for Ilechukwu as the club is a family but at the end of it all, it was best for both parties.

Speaking further, "Details of his deal with Heartland is best kept between parties but I can assure you that all lose ends in the contract was well tied.

Ilechukwu, known as 'Camara' will be ending his 13 years stint with MFM FC of Lagos (Moutain of Fire and Miracle Ministries), a club he served meritiously guiding them from the Amerture to Premier League and to their first ever CAF Champions League and Confederations Cup in 2017.
