Yobo profited from a scrappy defending as a heavy pass from Alpha Igbudu put the duo of  Akinmoladun and goalkeeper Moses Ocheje to pressure as Oliver David stole the ball and provided the needed assist to Ewelike.

Speaking after the game, captain of FC Yobo, Muri Lawal said: " Having lost to Kwara United in our first game on Friday, we had no choice that to come all out against Tornadoes.

"Playing them with respect would have cost us, so we took the game to them and then made use of the half chance they gifted us from a defensive mix up.

"The victory is a big boost for us, that we'll take into our subsequent games."
