Barrister Charles authoritatively express himself to the media, "This is a screening excercise and we've made it open so we could afford players opportunities to come express themselves, while the issue of selection is basically for the Head Coach as the board would not interfere in any decision regarding the team.
He Further said, "We hope to achieve our target of qualifying Heartland for continental football next season and we believe this is achievable with the 'Working One' because we have received tremendous and undiluted support from His Excellency, a lover of football and want to turn the club around."
When ask what is their plans concerning improved players welfare, owing of salaries, Barrister Charles assured that such will not happen again.
"We have enough government subventions, also we would solicit for sponsors to come on board and we would make payment of match bonuses, monthly allowances our priority.

He Concluded by saying "I am confident Fidelis Ilechukwu will do well because he has good antecedents, he should be focused and we believe he is the best man for the job.
"He should just understand that he has a contract agreement with the club and he should meet up with his own responsibilities with the club. Ilechukwu is a young and vibrant man with lots of prospect, his past record are unbeatable, he is not corrupt and greet everyone with respect, also choose his players with open mind so i believe the " Working One" is highly responsible.
