NPFL UPDATE: Fidelis Ilechukwu "Working One" Introduced To Players And He Assured Excellence Will not Be Sacrificed For Mediocrity

Heartland's new Head Coach Fidelis Ilechukwu "The Working One" was introduced to his players and backroom staff at the Okigwe Stadium yesterday. 

Speaking at the brief ceremony, The general manager Chief Chukwudi Ifeanyi promised to make the players welfare his number one priority stressing that his management team is poised to reciprocate the good gesture of the Governor Rt Hon Emeka Ihedioha by returning the glorious days of the Naze Millionaires.

Furthermore , the General manager declared that Ilechukwu is totally in charge of technical matters while promising to give the new coach a free hand as well as non interference with his duties.

Coach Ilechukwu responded by thanking the Board and management for finding him worthy of the task and enjoined his players to partner with him in the new project .


"I urged the players to rally round me to build a formidable unit with hard work, unity of purpose and an excellent work ethics, also promising that under his watch Excellence will never be sacrificed for mediocrity.

Responding to all the charge the stand in Captain Uche Oguchi appreciated the general manager for his kind gestures to the team since his appointment and gave words of assurance that the players are ready to partner with the management to take the club to greater heights.

The general manager was accompanied by some members of his management team ,namely Mobi Oparaku ,Ifeanyi Ekwueme, Promise Nwachukwu, Charles Nnadi and the new Tactician Fidelis Ilechukwu.
