The Alimosho Football League which is a new innovation from the Alimosho Coaches’ Council within the area is to develop and improve the play of the footballers.
The first league game which witness Kedge FC defeating Sammy FA on their home ground with three un-replied goals at the proposed palace ground Sasan Igando on the 17th of June 2019.
Goals coming from Suru Michael goals created by the goal keeper of Kedge FC, Oladun Precious, which led to Sammy FA losing their first home game.

Speaking with the Chairman (LOC) Local Organizing Committee, Mr. Uchenna Ekeh, he said the league is about getting the grassroots players feel what professional football is all about.
“The League is all about getting our grassroots players feel what professional football is all about thereby developing their play and getting them ready for the next step.
“It is the first time it’s happening in Alimosho, we intend to use it to project, develop and expose our local boys for what is applicable in the professional level.
“We believe the league will bring awareness of the game to our environment, help reduce youthful vices and give younger ones believe that talent with discipline can make the successful.
The remaining First League games continues on Wednesday 19th as IGFC will be at home facing Pecuiliar FC by 8AM and Nissi Fc will be facing Divine FC by 4:30PM. other matches are played on the 20th and 21st respectively, while Salamson fc will be at home to Future Stars and Samjason FC slugging it out with Labal FC at 4PM
