All is now set for the maiden edition of Kwara Charity Cup, an initiative for raising funds and materials for the challenged, orphans, widows, prisoners and less privileges in the society.
The large-scale football match which is targeted at hoping the hopeless will see the Nigeria Professional Football League, NPFL Players playing against Excel Allstars, a club of career professionals from all works of life at the Main Bowl of the Kwara State Stadium Complex, Ilorin.
According to the President of Excel Allstars, Engr. Laide Ahmed, he said Excel wants to utilize the power of football and the vehicle of Phreestyle Sport under the able leadership of FIFA Certified Sport Manager, Shogo Shodunnke to have a positive influence on people's lives.

In his reaction, Mr Shodunnke, the Brain behind Phreestyle Sport said "as an agency, we are delighted to organise and manage a great event like this in collaboration with Excel Allstars with some NPFL Players.
"We are sure that the aims and objectives of this charity would be achieved and we promise to get more states and communities active by providing quality and inclusive sport initiatives that will improve the lives and well-being of Nigerians.
The football charity match will be played on Wednesday 26th December by 4pm at the MainBowl of the Kwara State Sports Complex.
