Sunshine Stars played out a 1-1 draw against CAF Champions League side, Lobi Stars in their Matchday3 tie of the Gold Cup Tourney on Saturday in Akure.
Lobi Stars who lost to the tourney' s 'giant-killers' Cynosure FC by a lone goal on Matchday2, took the lead against the Owena Waves in the 54th minute.
Former Owena Wave striker, Alimi Sikiru took advantage of Sunshine Stars poor defending to set up Alex Aghahowa who rattled the net with a low drive shoot from 20 yards.
With the minutes clock tickling away with Lobi Stars set to claim another 3points, Barnabas Daniel former Crown FC striker rescued Sunshine Stars scoring the equalizing goal in the 82nd minute.

Adejubu from Lobi' s half, beat his marker, raced with the ball and chip the ball past goalkeeper, John Lawrence from 18yards to the bottom right corner of the net.
Lobi Stars have now got 4points from three games while Sunshine Stars have a point.
