Henry Onyekuru in action for the Super Eagles
Super Eagles forward, Henry Onyekuru, says the team will go all out for a win in their 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying double- header against Libya, 

Gernot Rohr’s men will host the Mediterranean Knights at the Akwa Ibom International Stadium, Uyo on Saturday, with the reverse fixture to take place on Tuesday in Sfax, Tunisia.

The three-time African champions occupy third position in Group E with three points from their opening two games.

Onyekuru, The former KAS Eupen and RSC Anderlecht of Belgium attacker, who joined Galatasaray on loan from Everton of England this summer, said he is happy with his scoring form in the Turkish Super Lig, and believes he can replicate that with the national team. 

"He assures that the Super Eagles are ready to give their best in both games.Libya sit at the top of the group with four points, same as the Bafana Bafana of South Africa who have an inferior goal difference.

“We know what the coach wants from us which is to give our very best against Libya. That is exactly what we intend to do in both games,” the official Twitter handle of the Super Eagles quotes Onyekuru on Saturday.

"He further said: “The national team is a whole different terrain but, as a professional, I’m committed to giving the same level of performance when I come to the national camp.

“It’s always amazing wearing the Green White Green national team jersey; But overall the three points remain our target. ”We will do our very possible best to win the crucial match and make our nation proud, also clinching the AFCON 2019 ticket is top priority.”
