Mr. Alloy Chukwuemeka (Director of Football ABS FC) and
Mr. Seni Saraki (Chairman of ABS Football Club)
The Chinese Clubs has impressed and excite football lovers and followers by offering double of the weekly wages in the English Premier League to attract top profiled players and Coaches to the Chinese Super League.
The Chinese club owners are not paying that much just to feed the fun of their fancy neither was it for fun too that the Government of China itself bought about 13% shares into Manchester City.
While the clubs provide rallying hubs and serve as huge public relations and tourism vehicles for their host communities, the leagues have now transformed into very strong economic factors not to be ignored by any serious nation.
These investments has  helped the circle of football development as the clubs invest in stadium, facilities and talents, increase the quality, appeal and demand for their games, expand media, convert the mass interest and following to commercial success and sustainable growth.
Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki (Proprietor of ABS FC)
“The Senate President "DR. Bukola Saraki decided to follow the pathway of investing in sport and he started ABS Football Club, using his personal resources to put smiles on faces, also giving hope to the hopeless by discovering and nurturing raw talents, but it seems the present leadership of the club lacks football management skills as they do not keep track of the vision and purpose for the establishment, due to mismanagement, the Club has been owing salaries and other allowances every season,

“The Club has spent several millions of naira from 2012/13 season but they could not give proper financial records.

“The Senate President Bukola Saraki, the Club proprietor, usually released money for matches (home and away) and salaries, apart from support from individual donors and Jersey partnership; why are they still owing salaries?

“In the last 6 years, the Club has used up to 7 different banks; why?

“According to the former coach of  Abubakar Bukola Saraki (ABS) FC, Coach Yusuf Salihu, express bitterness with the Club, “Since Mallam Abdul Adama the founder/Chairman of the club (Bukola Babes FC), Which transformed to Abubakar Bukola Saraki FC, left the club in the year 2012/2013 football season, the club has been facing a lot of financial challenges.

“Abdul Adama has never owed any Player, Coaches, Backroom staff or Officials a dime before he left the Club. He paid all the entitlements as at when due and he left the club with a very good structure. Those people Bukola Saraki entrusted with the club after Abdul Adama left, betrayed him. They are just using the platform of the Club to enrich themselves by perpetrating a lot of fraud. The Club is being run by only one person, as a one man show with no definite structure.

“I am still being owed the sum of Four Million, Five Hundred and Sixty Thousand Naira (N 4,560,000 =) only. I have comprehensive documents intact for perusal and confirmation for any persons that cares to know.

“After several appeals and counter appeals to pay my entitlements at Abubakar Bukola Saraki Football Club (ABS Ilorin FC), ‘I am constraint to officially notify the arbitration committee of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) to assist in recouping my entitlements.

“It is disheartening that some club proprietors have remained head strong and unwilling to do the what is right, concerning the welfare and remuneration of their footballers and Coaches, and the refusal of  the club management to pay players and coaches salaries is nothing but an act of wickedness and double standard.

‘The Proprietor of the Club ”DR. BUKOLA SARAKI should show more commitment and interest of the club both morally and financially, also effective structure must be put in place; Intelligent, Experienced and Transparent management.

“Consideration of a Football technocrat who is indigenous with dignity and of an unquestionable character as the Club consultant, There is need for proper and thorough auditing of the Club Finances, so as to lay a strong financial foundation and transparency.
